iOS 13.5 released few hours ago, and the team working on the unc0ver jailbreak tool claimed that they can unlock this version regardless of the device running it.

In other words, you should be able to jailbreak virtually any device using their software, including all iPhone models, running even the just launched iOS 13.5.

The unc0ver Team today announced in a tweet that unc0ver 5.0 will be the one that will include iOS 13.5 support and this one will be released soon.

“We are going to release #unc0ver 5.0.0 with support for every signed iOS version on every device using a 0day kernel vulnerability from @Pwn20wnd,” they said on Twitter.

No other specifics have been provided but the reference to “very soon” is a clear sign that we are very close to getting our hands on the very first iOS 13.5 jailbreak.

All iPhones were supportive

The official website unc0ver suggests that the jailbreak tool will operate on all devices running iOS 11 to 13.5, and the jailbreak is still in the testing stage right now. However, the progress of these “final stability tests” has already reached 90%, which means that we are very close to the moment version 5.0 is going to go live for all..

On iOS 13.5 running on iPhone 11 , iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone SE 2020, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 7, the team claims.

Jailbreaking an iPhone is almost the only way to get rid of the default app installed by Apple and remove some of the restrictions that the firm has put in place. Consequently, a jailbroken iPhone can access many new customizations and apps that are otherwise blocked by Apple by default because of what the company has always described as security reasons.
